The region is known to be home to estuarine or saltwater crocodiles. Visitors should observe the crocodile signs around the rivers, creeks and lagoons in the area. You will never tire of the wonderful things to do and see in the local area and combined with a local atmosphere and friendly people, Cooktown is a little piece of paradise that leads to Cape York.
