Uniform
With cooler months approaching, it is important for us to revisit the Cooktown State School P-12 Uniform Policy.
Cooktown State School P-12's Uniform Policy outlines the standard uniform endorsed by the P&C that every student from P-12 is required to wear. All school uniform policies are developed, and endorsed, by the Cooktown State School P-12 P&C and our current Uniform Policy was developed through parent, student and community consultation to dramatically cut the costs of uniforms to specifically support both parents and students.
Part of the uniform is a school zip-up jacket (pictured) or fleece jumper that students may wear. The cost of the zip-up jacket is $40, the smaller fleece jumbers are $15 and the larger jumpers are $20. They are available from the school uniform shop. These are the only jackets/jumpers currently accepted by the school. The school is happy to organize a payment plan for families if necessary, and encourage you to contact the school and speak to your child’s relative Deputy Principal – Cherryl Perry (10-12), David Lang (7-9).
A reminder also that leotards/gym tights/ripped jeans are not part of the Cooktown State School P-12 school uniform.
Thank you for supporting Cooktown State School P-12 and our Uniform Policy.
