Dear Parents,
I understand these are very difficult and
confusing times.
The Minister for the Department of
Education has instructed schools to maintain contact with parents each day
regarding student attendance.
If your child is attending school, teachers
will mark the roll however, if your child is not attending school due to the Department of Education regulations
all schools have been advised to SMS parents each day.
To simplify this for
parents please respond by texting back - using the following codes:
F - Learning at Home
B - Student at apprenticeship or traineeship
I - illness or medical
G - Family reasons
Unfortunately if we do not receive a response
your child will be marked U - Unexplained.
Please also do not hesitate to contact the
school if you require support of any kind. We are here to help students and
parents throughout this very difficult time.
